Little Penguin Pinot Noir

I tried this cheap guy and will pass. Just grape juice. Nothing to it. I am tending to prefer Shiraz these days. This just pushes me toward it even more.

At a restaurant the other day, I had a glass of Green Point Shiraz from Australia. It was really pretty good. It looks like the bottle price is just under $20.

This is by far my fav wine!! The light fruity taste of blueberry and blackberry, I just love it! I recommend it to everyone I meet! Muah!! Yum Yum!

I'm a fan of Aussie shirazes, so happened to try a 750ml bottle of Little Penguin (2007). I didn't use your "20 minute" trick (having not known it 'til now) but I'm not convinced that would have dramatically improved this vintage. I like my shiraz bold and with purpose; this came off watery and light, too heavy on spice, not enough fruit.
